DR. MIKE WASILISIN
MoveU Founder
“Life of success or death by mediocrity.”
In the year 2000, as just a young lad, Dr. Mike began his 17-year journey in healthcare as a rehab trainer at a chiropractic clinic. 9 years later he earned a bachelors degree in human psychology and a doctorate degree in chiropractic. Afterward, on his pursuit of success for himself and his clients, he found some success, but mostly failures as a sports rehab chiropractor. In 2013, he uncovered his true passion as an educator after creating and instructing a Kinesiology course at California State University to pre-physical therapy students. After working with over 10,000 patients in person, Dr. Mike recognized the pitfalls that existed within the broken healthcare system that caused the majority of patients to fail to achieve the outstanding results they were capable of. It was then that he committed to a higher purpose: inspiring the world to transform pain into a powerful mind and body. The result of the dedicated effort is what you know as MoveU.
Personally, Dr. Mike is a passionate spearfisherman and golfer and also enjoys action sports such as jiu-jitsu, mountain biking, and basket weaving.
ETIENNE DE BRUIN
Chief Technology Officer
Etienne was born and raised in South Africa. At the tender age of 13 he (did not) conquer(ed) a lion and (did not) eat it’s heart as a right of passage.
Instead he programmed computers all day and eventually got his Computer Science degree at Stellenbosch University.
He and his wife moved to Germany for a few years before landing in beautiful San Diego where he started CTO’ing stuff. He now does that for MoveU. He loves it.
JAMES GRIEGO
Media Editor
James is a Texas native who recently moved to San Diego after living in Chicago for three years. No matter what city he finds himself living in, he enjoys integrating himself into the local health and fitness culture. James has been involved in personal training and video editing for the past 10 years and finds himself happiest when he finds creative and innovative ways to combine his greatest passions – fitness and film. “Greatest passions” might be an exaggeration – his greatest passion is truly his 6-pound chihuahua, Foxy, who loves neither fitness nor film.
LEIGH ANN BOSCARINO
MoveU Coach
Leigh Ann is a coach in our online community. She has always known there was something special she was meant to do in this life, but it took her quite some time to find it. She works with multi needs young adults and has four teenage boys, so not many things surprise her.
Leigh Ann began her fitness career teaching alignment-based barre. She is an ACE certified group fitness instructor and enjoys toning, strengthening, and mobility classes. Despite her fitness knowledge, Leigh Ann suffered chronic pain for over six years. The day she joined the program, she knew she had found a program and a community that was unlike anything else out there. She was thrilled to have the epic opportunity to join the team. She believes working out should be enjoyable. Her fierce dance moves, witty jokes, and general tomfoolery are the pillars of her personality.
She absolutely adores being a Community Coach and feels greatly fulfilled by helping others achieve their goals. Leigh Ann loves when pets and babies make appearances in MUvers’ videos. Hint hint.
WILL
Skeleton, Friend
Will is our in house skeleton and longtime friend of MoveU. He enjoys staying in the filming studio by himself and smiling.
