Frequently Asked Questions

Your Questions Answered

1. What is The MoveU Program?

The MoveU Program is a step-by-step video-based program featuring courses to help you understand and improve all areas of your body. Educational and entertaining videos will help you to grow in self awareness, learn what specific, isolated muscle activation feels like, and guide you through an exploration of your body’s full range of motion so you can discover for yourself where your weaknesses and imbalances exist. Using what you learn will allow you to find your ideal alignment at every joint.

3. Do I have to do one program at a time?

You get to choose. You can dive into one program at a time, or you can work them side by side as they complement each other nicely. With your membership, you have access to it ALL.  However, since each course is relatively short, we think it makes sense to start with the area troubling you most and complete the first level before switching to another body area.  We highly recommend that you give it at least 3 months of consistent practice to notice a change in your body. If you’re coming with pain and/or postural issues, those issues have developed over time, and it takes time + consistency to reverse that effect. Keep in mind that every part of the body is connected!  What you’re feeling in one part of your body may very well originate elsewhere in the body. All systems work together.  Working on one area of your body alignment is good… but working on TOTAL body alignment is better!

4. Can The MoveU Methodology help with my specific issue?

We get the question about how our program can help people address their “unique” situation a lot. We ask you to please understand that the ENTIRE body works together and that the location of the pain is often NOT the source or root cause of the pain.

The MoveU Methodology can help you improve chronic (and some acute) issues throughout the entire body. Focusing solely on the location of your pain is not going to give you the long-term results that you are looking for. You MUST address the root cause, otherwise, those symptoms will likely return.

In the membership you uncover the ROOT CAUSE of your “specific issues” by challenging each area of your body with certain exercises and movements. You’ll learn the tools needed to improve each of those areas and strengthen your ENTIRE body back into alignment.

The MoveU Program takes everyone through the same exercises that test your body from head to toe. This allows you to discover for yourself where the muscle weaknesses and imbalances exist within YOUR body. With our help of course!

5. Can MoveU help me even if I'm not in pain?

Absolutely! The MoveU Methodology is an investment in your long-term physical health.  Whether you are looking to improve your posture, increase your Postural Presence (think body awareness on steroids), or build strength and mobility, the Methodology can help you achieve those goals.

6. Is The Program focused more on strength or flexibility?

The program is designed to teach you to test your own body to highlight imbalances and areas that need extra attention. Using the exercises and techniques taught in the program, you will learn to STRENGTHEN your entire body into better alignment. This leaves you with improved posture, strength, mobility, and flexibility.

7. What equipment will I need to complete The Program?

A large majority of the exercises in the MoveU Programs can be performed with minimal equipment and without needing access to a gym. The needed equipment, along with optional equipment, can be found within the program (a list is included below), but for the most part just some resistance bands will do!

8. Is there a community or coaching support included?

Absolutely. Your membership includes full access to our private online forum, where you can:

  • Ask questions and get direct feedback from our MoveU Coaches
  • Post photos and videos for personalized form checks
  • Connect with other MUvers for accountability and support
  • Share wins, get unstuck, and stay motivated with like-minded people

You’ll also get access to:

  • Monthly live workshops with our expert coaches and educators where you can learn and chat together in real time
  • Challenges and bonus content to keep you learning and growing all year long

This isn’t just a program. It’s a full support system.

9. How will an online program help me better than 1-on-1 in-person sessions?

The MoveU Methodology empowers you with the knowledge and tools to be able to improve most issues in your body without needing to see specialists or trainers.  Seeing these specialists for 1 hour at a time, 3 times a week for 2 months may help, but we want you to have access to tools to use whenever needed without driving across town, waiting for appointments or generally having to rely on others to address your issues. Your ability to assess and address your issues with our help will have a HUGE impact on how your body feels and moves through exercise and daily life. A deep understanding of why you have developed whatever misalignments or imbalances you have is the first step to the transformation you are seeking. Applying what you learn through consistent practice provides results that can last a lifetime.

10. How much time does it take to do The MoveU Program each day?

We recommend committing to practicing the movements and exercises in the program for AT LEAST 15-30 minutes per day. If you have more time each day, then spend as much time as you want. The program is entirely self-paced and allows you to fit it into your busy schedule.

It is also important to note that you’ll be learning training exercises that are relevant to your daily life. As a result, you’ll be able to practice these movements throughout your entire day and not just within a gym setting!

11. How long does it take to complete The MoveU Program?

The time it takes to complete the entire program will vary from individual to individual. It is very dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to – how much pain you are in when first enrolling in the program, the amount of time you commit to the program each day, how consistent you are with daily practice, how familiar you are with exercise, and how quickly you can make adjustments to improve your movement patterns. You can expect to be engaged with each program for 6-12 months.

12. Can I access The Program videos on a mobile device or app?

Yes! The MoveU Program can be streamed online from any mobile device, Mac, or PC via our App or website!

13. Can I download the videos to watch later or do I need internet access?

To download a video, navigate to the video you want to download, tap the 3 horizontal dots on the right side of the screen once you’re in the video and tap “download video”.

Once downloaded, you can go to the “account” tab and under “content” you’ll find a folder that says “downloads” where you can watch it.

Note this content will be available to you for as long as your subscription is current

14. If I'm in pain or injured, should I wait to start The Program?

If your injury was traumatic, it may be appropriate to have images or testing completed to rule out fractures or soft tissue injuries that may require surgery or immediate medical intervention. If you choose to seek medical support for an injury, it is safe to begin the MoveU Program when you are cleared by your doctor to be able to perform “gentle stretching and ground-based exercises”.

If your injury is chronic and/or you’ve seen various professionals for this problem before, it is generally recommended that you begin the MoveU Program immediately. All current research recommends engaging in physical activity is the best method to reduce chronic pain.

15. Am I able to participate in The Program if I am pregnant?

We will always advise you to follow the recommendations of your physician. If your medical provider has cleared you for exercise, then you are able to participate in the program. The exercises can be modified for pregnancy to stay within any guidelines your physician provides you with. We recommend holding on for balance and modifying exercises when you are lying on your back.

16. Who is your Pelvic Floor Course for?

The Pelvic Floor Course is for both men and women. Led by MoveU Founder Dr. Mike Wasilisin and pelvic floor therapist, Dr. Brittney Ellers, this program is beneficial if you’ve just had a baby, suffer from ED or urinary incontinence or other PF related issues, or simply want to have a strong core and pelvic floor.

17. How is The MoveU Program different from other online programs?

We have not participated in any other programs that you may find online. Therefore, we cannot speak specifically to what those programs do or not have when compared to the MoveU Program. Instead, we can speak to what our program will provide you.  The MoveU Program is a step-by-step start to finish guide for you to learn more about your entire body and how it works. The program focuses primarily on strengthening exercises to get your body into better alignment and also includes many stretches and self-massage techniques to supplement your training.

Whether you want to improve your posture, increase strength and mobility, reduce pain, or improve athletic performance, the MoveU Program can help you achieve your goals!

18. Is your program available in other languages?

Our program is currently all in English and does not have subtitles with the videos, nor does it support translations. We are working on adding this feature in the future. Your enrollment in the program is up to you and your comfort level with spoken English.

19. Can I do this program from my country?

Our program is mobile-friendly, 100% online, and available in most countries around the world! You do not have to be in the United States, or need to see our coaches in-person to participate in The MoveU Program.  Some users have reported difficulty signing on if there are government internet restrictions. At this time, Egypt and China are the only countries we are aware of users having trouble accessing our program.
